EQUAL VOICES – 2008

I richiedenti asilo, rifugiati, vivono con noi e fanno parte del nostro vivere sociale quotidiano. I protagonisti, provenienti da un paese africano, da un paese slavo e da un paese latino-americano, sono tre uomini e due donne che realmente sperimentano un nuovo stato sociale. Giocato sulla peculiarità delle differenti lingue madri, con l’obiettivo di dare un’identità più reale ai richiedenti asilo, rifugiati che vivono in Europa, il film dapprima crea nello spettatore un disorientamento, poi lo rende partecipe di questa conversazione in tante lingue.  Asylum seekers and refugees live with us and are part of our everyday social life. The main characters are three men and two women, coming from an African country, a Slavic country and a Latin American country, and who actually can experience a new welfare state. Played on the particularities of different mother-languages, with the aim of giving a more real identity to asylum seekers and refugees who are living in Europe, this film initially wants to create a sort of disorientation in the viewer, but then it makes him part of this conversation, in many languages.
