LFF begins in Rione Terravecchia of Pisticci

Tomorrow afternoon at 16.30 the Lucania Film Festival begins with the screenings of some of the short films belonging to the international sections Fiction and Animation which will go on during all the time of the kermesse located in Rione Terravecchia. The focus of the programme, however, will be the sections Cinergia “Mariano Pugliese”, dedicated to environmental topics, ecosustainability and renewable energies, and Piccoli Piccoli Area Scuola directed to the pupils of the Primary school. The short films of this last edition are the outcome of the training courses that the Lff through Namavista holds in the primary schools of Basilicata during the year. The children authors of the works in competition, will take part in the recycling labs for the realization of the Festival mascots: the fox and the hen protagonists of the graphics communication campaign of the festival. At 23.30 the parade of Fanfara Burek that will perform through all the location of the festival in Rione Terravecchia. Besides already since tomorrow, for the opening night works it will be present the lucanian actor Cosimo Fusco. At the end, in the “Off-hour” space there will be the screening of the medium film “Al propio posto” of the director of Matera Antonio Andrisani. The author will be at the screening with the protagonist of his new film, Rolando Ravello, and with the others of the cast of “Lo Stallo”, now shooting in Matera, of which he is the screenplay and interpreter.
