Lucania Film Festival, the winner card

As the Joker, the king of diamonds in Naples cards and main player in graphic communication of this year, the Lucania Film Festival has been the winner card in Basilicata summer, confirming itself as one of the most important cultural event of the region. Lucania Film Festival let became the city of Pisticci the regional capital of Cinema and culture and this night, the last night of the kermesse, there will be the ceremony for the prize giving to winner movies of International/Fiction, International/Animation and Lucania Film Makers sections. Members of the jury are Gennaro Vallifuoco, Filippo Solibello, Declan Hannigan, Emanuela Mascherini, Torfinn Iversen and Erminia Pinto.

Tonight is also time for the usual final concert, when the festival, a place for cinema and shows, becomes a pure moment for party and all the images from all over the world movies becomes music. This year is time for The Hormonauts, a rockabilly band founded in 1999 by the scottish Mac Farlane, performing classic songs and original works with Punk Rock, Rock Steady and Country influences.

Talking again about movies, Lucania Film Makers films, screened yesterday night, has been really appreciate by the audience: this is a signal of a quality increase in local production and underline the presence of professionals figures (film makers and authors but also technicians and sound engineer) in Basilicata, able to work in the cinema industry.
Great succes also for the Talk and Music show performed yesterday night by Filippo Solibello and Krikka Reggae, and for Michele Russo masterclass, who screened a preview of a documentary about the Francis Ford Coppola family.
