Take off for the 10th edition of the LFF

Few hours are missing for the 10th birthday of the Lucania Film Festival: this year the opening event has taken place in the new hangar of the Pisticci Scalo airport , Friday 7th of August. The location has been chosen to underline the strong international vocation and in the same moment to confirm the chance given to the territory, in order to jump put of its borders. For the first time the President of Regione Basilicata, Vito De Filippo was present to give relief to Lucania Film Festival. He said: “the festival is growing and he’s going to become an important point for cinema lovers and Basilicata amateurs”. From the 10th to 13th of August, from 6pm until deep night the Festival will offer a wide range of events: screenings, concerts, meetings, workshops, parties, taste events and many other shows. The set is, as usually, the marvellous ancient heart of the city, Rione Terravecchia. Many guests and friends like Domenico Fortunato, Farncesco Baccini, Rocco Papaleo, Filippo Solibello and Paolo Briguglia. Among the events we suggest: a discussion with Michele Russo, who realized a documentary about the Francis Ford Coppola’s Family which would be presented soon in the USA, a Talk and music show with Krikka Raggae, the presentation of the shooting of “Basilicata coast to coast” with Giovanna Mezzogiorno and last night the concert of the Hormonauts.
