The LFF goes haywire with Papaleo and Solibello

TILT is the name of the new project centre of the third day of the Lucania Film Festival. TILT is an acronym for “Torna In Lucania Team”, which means “Come Back To Lucania Team”, and it has a double meaning in Italian: “to go haywire”. From this year it supports all the initiatives of the Festival at national level. The project realized by the Allelammie association and selected by the Basilicata Region for “Visioni Urbane” is, at the same time, an appeal and an appointment for all the people who left for choose or duty had to leave Basilicata looking for more luck. TILT is a sort of bridge through the elements of the territory, of the Lucania identity, and the possibility of creation of a cultural industry and tourism. The desire is to unhinge the common idea that nothing is possible here in Basilicata and to stop to wait for someone else to change the things.  An urging and an absolute assertion that in Lucania is possible to live, work and produce, above all using creative energy, knowledge and new technologies, this idea is growing in this is 10years of experience.

Rocco Papaleowas born in Basilicata and he loves to come back here, and yesterday with Paolo Briguglia, the actor of “I Cento Passi”, excited a thousand of people with a show-concert. Today at 11pm in Sala Grande in the Rione Terravecchia of Pisticci, the star performer is Filippo Solibello, one of the most important radio speaker and anchor of the program “Caterpillar” on Radio2, he’s also origins from Lucania and first to agree and support the project. He is the performer of the audience of the third night of the Lucania Film Festival with a talk and music show inspired by the themes of the TILT and attended by the Krikka Reggae.

The screenings of all films in competition continue with the International sections (fiction and animation) and the Lucania Filmmakers, other events are the screenings of Giallo, a feature film who won the Racconti di Cinema Award, and the meeting with Michele Russo, for a talk through the relation with Francis Ford Coppola, his family and the Basilicata Region.
