Giobbe Covatta – 12 august 2010
Special guest of the eleventh edition of Lucania Film Festival, Gianni Covatta, aka GIOBBE, is a comedian and actor born on June 11th, 1956. He uses his humorous vein in all fields of entertainment, achieving a great success in each one. His humanitarian efforts led him in November 1994 to become one of the testimonials of AMREF (Foundation for African Medicine and Research). Since then, every year, he spends his spare time dealing with African problems and providing AMREF with a practical aid, in order to complete their projects. He held the post of delegate of the mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, for international solidarity and cooperation initiatives.
